This work was completed for the 2004 National Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod Youth Gathering in Orlando, Florida.
Conference Identity Mark
The gathering planners requested an image that suggested the Orlando location and made reference to Ephesians 3:20-21. "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." The ideas that were talked about included stars, fireworks, wild and fun shapes, palm trees and citrus coloring. The power at work within is symbolized by the white dove in the center representing the Holy Spirit. This is a busy mark but it holds together visually through the use of strategically placed color.

This booklet was sent out to all the participants as a recap of the gathering. The design symbolically shows the youth leaving Orlando and returning home through the logo busting apart and spreading out.
